In its development at the end of the 20th century, biotechnology proves to be a key branch of modern biology. In the history of worlds biology, never has mankind obtained so many new strategically meaningful biological achievements as contemporary today.

In the coming 21st century, worlds population will increase rapidly, thus the urgent problems, opportunities and trials for science and technology will lie in food safety, environmental protection and series of domains  concerning economic and social development, improving people’s living standard. Biotech will more and more carry forward its enormous effect, firstly on food and foodstuff, medicine and the improvement of human health. It’s possible that in only 5-10 years mankind will witness leaps and bounds in agriculture production thank to biotech, especially genetic engineering (GE) put forward new biogeneties – GE microbes, GE plants, animals.

However, importance should be a hacked to the security of biogeneties and their relation with other bioties, product safety and their effect on environment. A number of mentioned demands but forward to research and to develop biotech’s achievements, really it’s the revolution on many national product branches. Series of problems put on the street forward, that is waiting word’s scientists, among them is ourselves Vietnamese . Therefore, training quickly  manpower at high professionals in biotech for our country  and building research organs and applied organs with modern laboratories, they are necessarily realized in the first years of the 21st century.
